Flash Without <Embed> Revisited

Ian Hixie has posted a variation on the Flash Satay Method for adding flash content without the use of <embed>. Seems to work quite well in Internet Explorer 5+, Netscape 6+, Mozilla1.5+, Opera and Firefox. I do suggest replacing the failure text in Ian’s example with an image.
In other news, I came across an interesting article about Google’s server horsepower. Mind boggling!
