Well, here I am in Las Vegas. I’m staying in the Palms hotel which is owned by the Maloof brothers. It really is a different kind of Vegas hotel: small and no theme to speak of. It’s pretty new so the rooms are nice and clean. So far it has been a decent stay. ($9.99/day for broadband connection is allowing me to type this)
On the flip side…
I nearly went to a movie last night. Imagine…a movie while in Vegas. I guess that says something about my love for gambling. ( I did drop $10 on video poker just to get it out of the way 
) In all honesty though, there isn’t really anything to do here if you don’t want to drop a ton of money. Even eating is ridiculous. Oh well, I’ll be back home in another day.
