Well, after quite some time, I have finished another painting. I actually started this painting over a year ago. I had been searching for a small screen I was going to use for some texture. I never found the screen, but had some other ideas about color and last week I finally pulled this thing out again to make the finishing touches.

I’ve put up some new photos on my Flickr account. They are from a recent hiking trip to Cold Canyon Creek. There is a 5-mile ridge trail there that, although straight up for a good portion of the hike, is really a good time. There is an incredible view of Lake Beryessa.
